The existing farm development houses a small farmhouse and stone built steading, in need of renovation, and various modern agricultural barns. The proposal developed was to demolish and rebuild the farmhouse on a larger scale and with a closer connection to the steading which was to be developed as an estate and staff office, workshop, kennels and self contained flat.

A separate stable is located adjacent to the steading and a cattle yard is situated on the single access road to the farm.
