A development scheme for the extension of a small village just outside of Dumfries. Private land surrounding the village had recently been incorporated into the local plan as a potential site for housing.
The historic nature of the village was defined by a linear form and the proposal was to replicate this into the new area of housing and then define the end of the village.
A small enclave of larger detached homes is located beyond this.
