FetLor Youth Club is housed in a 1960’s building on Crewe Road South in Edinburgh.

It is no longer feasible to attempt to maintain the existing club house and a new building has been designed to take the club forward. We met the young people at the club a number of years ago and they were very fond of the existing club house. Primarily the young members did not want people to be able to see in to their club and saw the club as a safe place for them to come. Our design for the new club building comes from the sense that the members are in a fort, where they feel safe and protected.

There are few windows, no evident entrance on show and the daylight comes from the roof.A planning application has been submitted for the new club building and support for this can be left on the councils planning website.
